Travel - Devon

Just at the end of August my family and i managed to go to Devon for a week, it is also the opposite end of the country as i live in Yorkshire and took around 6 hours to get there, but we had been before a few years ago and went back to the same area of Sidmouth as we enjoyed it very much. We stayed in a cottage which had recently been refurbished and was really lovely and had scones and clotted cream left for us by the owners. On the way we stopped off at Trentham Gardens which is part of the Trentham Estate in Stoke-on-Trent and i got quite a few good pictures of the flowers and statues there, also the ice cream we had was delish. This post has a lot of photos too and i have cut the number down to the ones i liked best.

Flowers peeking over the wall on a walk

Bell tower on someone's roof and the view from the balcony at the cottage

A hidden garden by the Clock Tower cafe, worth the climb up the cliffs

Pretty views from the picnic area

Different types of old english roses

Water bridge on the sensory walk

Spotted some of the fairies on our way around the gardens

Woven branch people at the gardens

Some little decorations in the cottage and the last day was very rainy

Have you got any holidays planned for this year or next year? xxx
